Punggol Transition Camp 2007!fun fun fun.
reached school at about 6.50am.
once I reach the Pastoral Care room, Samson greeted me with;
"Don't know is WHO ask me come at 6.30am one hor."
haha. uncle, where are you living and where am I living? :X
Mr Khamil then came in to brief us about the camp.
he told us that no BGR and 'stuff' were to be going on within the facilitators.
if not the principal won't trust us anymore and then next year no camp.
we were wayyyyy behind schedule.
ice breakers only started at 9am when it was supposed to start at 8am.
while ice breakers was going on, I was busy preparing the telematch stuff.
briefing of the group instructors and station masters.
finish all the preparation at about 10.30am.
the groups had their group cheer competition.
Samson! argh.
he got his group to cheer and then sing me a birthday song!
it was totally unexpected and a lil bit embarrassing.
nevertheless, it was really sweet. hahs.
he still asked me, "有没有感到 paiseh?"
and I said yes. and he went, "YES! target achieved." =.=
telematch began at about 11am.
I shouldn't have included the flour game in the telematch!
Ming Ya's brilliant idea uhs.
tricked me to go to the field and told me that there wasn't enough flour.
when I walked near the bucket of flour, they all attacked me with flour!
then after the telematch ended, Lee Yang(yang mehmeh=X) still wanted to pour the remaining flour left onto me.
good thing I ran away quick enough.
hahs.
so then had lunch.
and before lunch, Debbie Tan got the whole p6 level to sing birthday song again!
and Samson helped too.
this one was embarrassing.
after lunch was The Challenge.
was actually supposed to be Amazing Race but it was canceled. ):
stayed at the Magic Maze station for the whole of The Challenge.
it was from 2.30pm to 6.30pm.
argh.
4 hours!
I wouldn't even be in there if Samson didn't need my phone to time them.
his Nokia Engage lousy. no stopwatch. :X
and i'm like his secretary, telling him when he has a message or call and stuff like that;
while he explains the p6s about Magic Maze.
then dinner.
had dinner outside PC room.
while discussing the night walk with Debbie, Cheryl and my sis.
went to set up the items required for the night walk with Debbie, Cheryl and Ming Ya.
really pretty and romantic.
cos we lit candles along the corridors.
the aromatherapy kind of candles.
the nightwalk is about a murder case.
haha. they're supposed to find out who's the murderer.
really cool but chaotic too.
after everything was done, pupils gathered in the hall to submit their answers.
Marcus, Tuan Wei/Hotdog and I were playing with the candles and wax.
then Samson, Joel, David, Randy, Daren, Lee Yang and Daniel all say I emo.
cos nobody celebrate my birthday.
but uh, didn't they already sang birthday songs?
damn lame la.
after nightwalk, was movie time!
didn't watch the movie though.
stayed in the PC room and chatted.
and those five 6-4o4 + 2 6-8o4 guys can't stop saying the following 3 lines:
"later next year no camp" (cos they just LOVE gay-ing around)
"去打蓝球 leh"
"why suddenly so quiet?"
just watching them play daidi and cheat(the neopets one) was amusing enough.
hahahah.
their game of Upwords is downright horrible.
will elaborate on it later.
went to shower, then sentry duty.
snacked, and stuff.
the stars were pretty!
so many of them were visible at night.
and the moon too. :D
so beautiful.
then it was swing time!
ahahs.
my new nickname from the guys is emo.
crazy people.
then slept at about 3.30am.
woke at 5.30am.
wanted to play some games but they were all asleep. ):
so i went back to sleep.
woke up at 6.59am with an aching neck.
cos of the swivel chairs.
oh well.
first activity was PT!
haha.
not exactly PT.
ask them do PT they will die.
Lee Yang still ask if can get them to doing pushups. =.=
then played Dog and Bone.
breakfast, then treasure hunt.
Li Xian is so, mean.
he got the groups to do a stupid dance when it wasn't even required.
then slack time in PC room.
until I started to do the printing of the photos.
169 photos to print!
okay, maybe a lil less than 169.
was using Li Xian's laptop at first.
but we didn't have the installation disc for the printer.
called Mr Khamil, and went to get his laptop instead.
oh, the 6-4o4 and 6-8o4 guys were playing Upwords while I was dealing with the laptops.
so indecent.
Upwords for them isn't educational at all.
whats more, they didn't cheat to form this puzzle.
it was a start from scratch, no cheating game!
finally got the pictures over to the other laptop, and connect all the wires myself! :D
cos they all went to play captain's ball.
skipped breakfast and lunch.
ate biscuits in the PC room instead. (:
but I drank milo for both breakfast and lunch.
one at r.t.p and another iced from coffee shop.
thanks to Li Xian for buying the drinks.
then we had this really lame, but fun 'contest'.
we got 3 p6 guys to come up and styled 3 of our facilitators' hair.
Joel, Samson and Li Xian.
funny la.
then Joel and Samson still tango-ed with each other.
to the music Sway, cos I have it in my phone.
haha. then Zhi Kai did pole dance! :X
but it was all because we were stalling for time.
then gave them their photos and prize-giving session. (:
cleared the PC room and went home!
and I had to bring back the cake that Mr Khamil bought.
cos we didn't cut it. ):
Punggol Camp rocked.
going back again this Thursday.
